Iran is not safe ! Economic sanctions from USA are against Iranians not Non-Iranians. Even many Iranians travel to USA for visiting family and friends or tourist activities and there are no restriction for traveling of Iranians to USA, So there is nothing to concern about.
Another factor that makes doubts on traveling to Iran or not! Originating from political relation mainly with United States, following this cold relation, USA Medias talks on BOLD topics and broadcast them more and more instead of talking about all dimensions, also released Warnings for travelers to Iran through their governmental web-sites.
Despite all above and other bad news, there are some good news from Iran as a new destination in the world for enjoying holidays, of course with consideration of local culture and things to do list in IRAN, the style of enjoying is a bit different with other destinations.
